What is the Perfect Posture?
Your spine has 3 curves: cervical lordosis, thoracic kyphosis and lumbar lordosis. These 3 curves create an S shape of your spine.
In general, your pelvis should be in a neutral position, meaning it is not tilted too far forward or back.
Your shoulders should be back standing proud and your head should be on top of your shoulders, not poking out forward or looking down.
Stand with confidence- feel good look good!
However, EVERYBODY is different! There is not one set perfect posture for everyone.
The best posture is MOVEMENT!
Being in any position for too long is not beneficial for the body. Humans are not made to be sedentary beings. We are made to move and bend and twist and turn. Try to avoid any prolonged posture.
Prolonged postures can cause a multitude of issues. If you are experiencing postural pain- book in and see a physio!
